Graphitic carbon nitride with the pyridinic N substituted by Al and Si as efficient photocatalysts for CO2 reduction

Abstract

Si- and Al-doped g-C3N4 exhibit excellent activity and selectivity in producing HCOOH and CH4 from the CO2RR respectively, with the catalytic performance comparable to that of noble-metal doped g-C3N4.
