Abstract
Graphical password authentication, an alternative for the textual password-based method, was developed based on the premise that humans are better at recognizing visual information than textbased information. There are two types of graphical password schemes– Recognition-based and Recall-based. However, each has its drawbacks as well as its positive points. In this paper, several methods in graphical password have been analyzed in terms of its advantages and drawbacks so that the findings from this paper can conclude which methods are more superior that the other.
