Abstract

Abstract We suggest graphical methods for summarizing simulation-based outputs for the purpose of inference, with emphasis on Bayesian hypotheses testing, model comparison and criticism. We discuss the application of some well-known graphical methods of exploratory data analysis to simulation-based Bayesian inferences and, in particular, we test hypotheses about mean/variance equality of several normal and multinormal populations.
