Abstract

In this paper, a graphene-based patch antenna is proposed with a realistic CPW feeding and biasing structure. To provide the driving signal, a stacked metal-graphene structure is utilized with GSG probe as the feeding structure of the graphene antenna. Moreover, a biasing stub based on the stacked metal-graphene structure is attached at the end of the graphene patch for tuning the graphene properties. The proposed graphene antenna is simulated in CST microwave studio. The results show that the proposed structure work well with the graphene-based antenna at the frequency band of interest.
