Abstract

With graphene as a saturable absorber, the efficient and stable 1.4μm dual-wavelength operation of Nd:YAG ceramic laser is demonstrated. A maximum total average output power of 601mW is obtained under the pump power of 22.3W, corresponding to an optical-optical conversion efficiency of 2.7%. The minimum pulse width and the highest pulse repetition rate are 470ns and 101kHz, respectively.
