Abstract

Research conducted in the UK shows that a sponge-like carbon 3D scaffold material used in combination with a polymer of intrinsic microporosity has the potential to produce higher yields of hydrogen peroxide than current commercial production processes. The material, developed by UK company Integrated Graphene Ltd, has all the desired properties of graphene yet does not suffer any of its scale-up issues.
