Abstract

Introduction Granulosa cell tumors (GCT) are rare tumors which account for 1–2 % of all ovarian malignancies and juvenile type of GCT affecting young women are even rarer comprising only 5 % of all GCT’S. Laparoscopy despite increasingly being adopted for the management of all gynecological diseases, still has a controversial role in surgical staging and management of early stage ovarian cancer, major concerns being accuracy of surgical staging, tumor spillage and port site metastasis.
