Abstract

1. The atmosphere of high-temperature annealing has a substantial effect on the growth rate of secondary recrystallized grains. 2. The oxygen concentration is the determining factor in the effect of the annealing atmosphere on the process of texture formation in electric sheet. 3. The maximum perfection of the edge texture in electric sheet is achieved by annealing in hydrogen with a dew point of −80°C.
