Abstract

The results of a study of grain-boundary deformation in Ni doped with 10−6 at% He tested in the temperature range 20 to 1000 °C are given. Compared to non-irradiated metals more intense deformation is observed in the samples irradiated by α-particles. The data show the predominant role of grain-boundary deformation in the high-temperature radiation embrittlement process. [Russian Text Ignored].
