Abstract
A simple one-step chemical vapor deposition method of synthesizing carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on copper fiber substrates is described. This method has potential for industrial production. The specific area of the CNTs grafted onto copper fibers was significantly enlarged. A decrease in tensile strength was found after the treatment.
