Abstract
A study assessing the potential risks and benefits of antipsychotic dose reduction compared with antipsychotic maintenance has found that dose reduction had no effect on the primary outcome of change in social functioning in patients with recurrent psychosis. However, dose reduction was associated with a greater likelihood of psychotic relapse.
