Abstract
We develop the Holstein-Primakoff nonlinear realizations for the atypical representations of the graded Lie algebra spl(2,1). We outline how these can be used to obtain semiclassical theories of strongly correlated electron models, following approaches derived from the spin-wave theory of localized magnetism
