Abstract
<h3>MEETING OF ADVISORY COMMITTEES ON MATERNAL AND CHILD WELFARE SERVICES UNDER THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT</h3> Dec. 16 and 17, 1935, there were called together at the Children's Bureau in Washington the General Advisory Committee on Maternal and Child Welfare Services and the special committees on Maternal and Child Health, Crippled Children and Child Welfare Services that had been appointed by the Secretary of Labor to assist the Children's Bureau in its work. The special committees met on December 16 to discuss matters pertaining to the special fields covered by parts 1 to 3 of title V of the Social Security Act. The General Advisory Committee met on the following day, first in general session with all members of the special committees, and later in business session to receive reports of the special committees.
