Abstract
Engineers around the world have been struggling to improve the way we live our lives by improving the technology. Indeed, the greatest improvement of technology in the past era has made our life easier and fast reaching. All these improvements came after many trials of which some have been successful and others not. Two of the greatest progressions in the wearable technology field are the Google glass and the Apple Watch. Google glass is a pair of glasses that has a built in hands-free Smartphone. The Apple Watch is a smart wearable device and it's vastly different from the one you keep on a desk, carry in your pocket, or put on your wrist. Nowadays, these technologies can be well used in the educational environment. Students have quick and easy access to information when using wearable technology devices. The later can be integrated in classrooms to improve learning objectives, connect students to new ways by providing mobility for just about any classroom environment, and link students who are attached to their devices in campuses across the country. This paper presents an overview about these two popular wearable devices namely the Google Glass and the Apple Watch and their utilization in learning and teaching.
