Abstract

New tetranuclear complexes have been prepared using bridging phosphide or thiolate groups between phosphine gold fragments and the compound [Ru 3(CO) 9(μ 3-η 2,η 4,η 3-{Me 3SiCC(C 2Fc)SC(Fc)CSC CSiMe 3})]. The crystal structures of the intermediates [Ru 3(CO) 8(NMe 3)(μ 3-η 2,η 4,η 3-{Me 3SiCC(C 2Fc)SC(Fc)CSC CSiMe 3})] and [Ru 3(CO) 8(PPh 2H)(μ 3-η 2,η 4,η 3-{Me 3SiCC(C 2Fc)SC(Fc)CSC CSiMe 3})] have been solved.
