Abstract
AbstractThe first (N‐heterocyclic carbene)AuI‐catalyzed Mannich addition reactions of N‐protected imines with different 1,3‐dicarbonyl compounds are described. IPrAuNTf2 was proven to be an efficient catalyst for the reactions of β‐keto esters and 1,3‐diketones with N‐sulfonylimines to afford the desired β‐amino carbonyl compounds in good yields under very mild conditions.
