Abstract

Big enterprises usually have a great variety and a large amount of resource with heterogeneous forms. This situation has been one of main problems restricting enterprise's management efficiency. How to make integrated analysis and use all kinds of enterprise's resource comprehensively, high-efficiently, and flexibly, is the key of enterprise's subsistence and development. Thus, this paper proposes a new model, Goal-Oriented Integrated Enterprise Resource Model (GOIERM), describing and expressing all kinds of heterogeneous soft and hard resource information with a unified methodology, so as to provide enterprise's managers a goal-oriented resource semantic describing methodology and a unified view of management resource. Furthermore, this paper researches and establishes the formalized model of GOIERM. Within the GOIERM, all kinds of enterprise's resource with different types is regarded as a group of resource elements, attributes, as well as the relationship and combination among them. That means, in details, the resource elements, attributes related closely with a certain enterprise's management goal task, and the relationship among them, or a necessary combination (group, sequence, set, calculation, etc.) consisting of these elements, attributes and relationships. Finally, analysis of the characteristics of GOIERM is given in this paper. Essentially, enterprise management based on GOIERM takes the unified enterprise resource model and view as a base, and regards the process of enterprise management as a process of collecting, analyzing, describing and processing the enterprise's resource information.
