Abstract

IN chapter 17 we pointed out the importance of the distinction between the ontological and the epistemological questions with regard to God’s existence. Since these two questions are often confused, we need to make the distinction between them quite clear before we can discuss the ontological question about God’s existence. In the light of our analysis of the concepts ‘existence’, ‘fact’ and ‘reality’ in chapter 18 we are now able to distinguish more clearly between the ontological and epistemological questions than we could do in chapter 17.KeywordsPrimary DeterminantKnowledge ClaimLanguage GameOntological ConceptChristian FaithThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
