Abstract
A new method is introduced in this paper to evaluate the phase center and group delay of GNSS antenna. The average phase center offset (APCO) and average phase center variation (APCV) for evaluating phase center, average group delay (AGD) and average group delay variation (AGDV) for evaluating group delay are proposed and calculated. The new method is succinct and irrelevant to the elevation and azimuth. Three patch antennas at 1.575GHz are proposed to illustrate the method.
