Abstract

This study aims to analysis two proposal of oral genre production, from a collection of Nature Science textbook, supported in Bakhtin (2019) and Schneuwly and Dolz (2011). We noted the possibilities of favouring to the critical literacy of student, from the perspective of Freire (2019), Street (2014) and Soares (2009). We justify the investigation of textbook and we showed the relevance of research about the oral genres and their links with the critical literacy. It is a document content analysis with focus quanti-qualitative and interpretive. The data conclude the occurrence of a limited percentage of these proposals, however the study indicates the contribution to the critical literacy of student.
