Abstract

Gnathostomiasis is a parasitic infection not well-known among healthcare professionals. This case report underscores the importance of understanding the epidemiology and clinical characteristics of the disease, with the aim of broadening the possibilities in the differential diagnosis of helminthic infections and guiding specific therapeutic interventions.
