Abstract

1. 1. Chromatin isolated from either lymphoid or erythroblastic mouse spleen cell nuclei exhibit distinct glutathione reductase activity but only insignificant activities of disulphide reductases independent of GSSG. 2. 2. Glutathione reductase activity of the isolated chromatin has been found to be affected neither by repeated washing of chromatin nor supplementation of the nucleus lysate with cytosol containing high amount of GSSG reductase. 3. 3. Disulphide reductase activities of the same order were found in nuclear material from normal and erythroblastic spleen nuclei.
