Abstract

A partial quantum-chromodynamics realization of S-matrix cluster multiperipheral models is proposed. The idea is to specify the limited-mass clusters by low-frequency gluon bremsstrahlung. The Reggeons exchanged between clusters are not derived since they originate from high-energy amplitudes which cannot be bremsstrahlung-dominated. Qualitative aspects of the model are investigated using QED with an infrared color-confinement cutoff. The numerical results for the hadron clusters are quite sensible. We discuss how the model can fit in with the topological expansion. We also briefly discuss the differences between this model and the approach of Brodsky and Gunion.
