Abstract

The dynamics of the electric spark channel and the detached shock wave at high gradients of the magnetic field pressure between them are studied. The absorption coefficient of optical radiation at a given wavelength with allowance for stimulated radiation is determined from the ratio of the measured intensity per unit thickness of the radiation source to the radiation intensity of a reference Planckian source.
