Abstract
We describe procedures for approximately solving first-and nth-order glow rate equations for linear and parabolic heating modes and analyze them in comparison with the conventional approach. The results demonstrate that parameters of glow peaks evaluated in the proposed model agree well with experimental and literature data for LiF-based phosphors.
