Abstract

A discontinuous stabilising feedback law is proposed for a class of nonlinear systems. The proposed law is based on the receding horizon principle in which the cost function is a part ofthe control energy. The special class of nonlinear systems considered enables a real time implementation of the proposed stabilising law. The efficiency of the proposed strategy is illustrated through two examples.
