Abstract

AbstractDuring and immediately after the global financial crisis, transatlantic economic policy broadly harmonised. In the years since, transatlantic economic policy has drifted apart, not least as the US economic cycle moves faster than the EU's. The result is a legacy of homogenous international financial regulation overlaying heterogenous fiscal, monetary and economic realities. Is the above dichotomy evidence of de‐globalisation?
