Abstract

Adding mass is one of main methods to get more energy in engineering. This process can be described by compressible Euler equations with mass addition. In this paper, we will give the description of the flow with mass addition in one dimensional duct. After getting the maximum length Lm of duct, we can obtain the global stability of steady supersonic flows for one dimensional isentropic compressible Euler equations with mass addition in a finite rectilinear duct with the length L<Lm.
