Abstract

This special joint issue of the Journal of Business Research contains twelve articles that were originally presented at 2009 SMA–KAMS symposium in the SMA Annual Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. The following twelve articles are a result of partnerships between KAMS and SMA members working together to create successful research collaborations. Topics in this special issue range from lifestyle research to several technological studies to an examination of marketing's role in today's organizations. This article includes a discussion of contributions to the marketing literature.
