Abstract
Integrated photoelectric measurements of the equivalent widthWHβ, the [Oiii]/Hβ ratio and the Hβ emission line flux were obtained for 30Hii regions in the SMC. Physical properties of theHii regions and their ionizing stellar associations were derived. Some aspects of the recent star formation in the SMC and the evolution ofHii regions are discussed.
