Abstract

Global labor mobility is a logical outgrowth of the globalization of the world's workforce. With an increase in global labor mobility, internationally educated nurses continually seek employment in the United States. This article presents the challenges and regulatory implications of nurses entering the United States on an occupational visa and in applying for a license to practice.
