Abstract

The global finite-time synchronization between the Loren system and the Chen system via a simple controller is investigated in this paper. Firstly, a simple controller is designed to establish the master-slave synchronization scheme of the chaotic Lorenz system and the chaotic Chen system. And then, the finite-time stability theory is applied to verify the synchronization criterion of the chaotic Lorenz system and the chaotic Chen system and the corresponding synchronization time is analytically estimated in a mathematical formula. Finally, the effectiveness of the result obtained in this paper is confirmed by a numerical example.
