Abstract
One important aspect of translational science in neuro-AIDS is the necessary convergence of several fields, from virology to immunology, neurology, neuroendocrinology, and psychology, as well as the traditional Eastern and Western medical traditions. In short, the optimal and most effective characterization and medical intervention for neuro-AIDS has been proven to be gained from the seamless integration of translational research and effectiveness, as well as diverse convergent physiological fields and medical traditions. Such intertwined global perspective is best obtained through intense telehealth programs, from which patients with HIV/AIDS and specifically patients with neuro-AIDS have largely benefitted in the last decades.
