Abstract

In this paper, we study the free boundary problem of compressible non-isothermal liquid crystal flow in dimension one. For the vacuum interface condition, that is, the density is assumed to vanish and connect to vacuum continuously, we prove global existence and uniqueness of classical solutions to the liquid crystal system with large initial data.
