Abstract

We consider the (nonlinear) difference equation x n = a + ∑ k=1 m b k x n−k , n = 0,1,2… where a and b k ( k = 1, 2, …, m) are nonnegative numbers with B ≡ ∑ m k = 1 b k > 0, and we are interested in whether all positive solutions are attracted by the positive equilibrium L = ( a 2 ) + ( a 2 ) 2 + B .
