Abstract
The global asymptotic stability of nonlinear feedback systems x = Ax + bf(ξ <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">T</sup> x) where the matrix A has purely imaginary roots is investigated. Narendra and Taylor have studied nonlinear systems where they assumed A to be negative definite. In this letter, conditions are derived which guarantee that all bounded solutions approach an equilibrium state.
