Abstract

A rapid, sensitive, and accurate GLC method of analysis of a new anticonvulsant drug, 1-(2,6-dimethylphenoxy)-2-aminopropane, was developed, utilizing an acid hydrolysis procedure to increase its degree of recovery from urine and employing one of its isomers, 1-(2,3-dimethylphenoxy)-2-aminopropane, as an internal standard.
