Abstract

We investigate the field-cooled magnetization (FCM), M FC , of the 3D Ising EA spin-glass (SG) model by the standard Monte Carlo (MC) method and the corresponding equilibrium magnetization, M eq , by the exchange MC method. At an early stage of an intermittent halt of the FC process at low temperatures, M FC ( t ) is found to decrease even though M FC ( t ) < M eq , as has been observed also experimentally. The result strongly supports our FCM scenario proposed recently which claims that the FCM dynamics is intrinsically glassy.
