Abstract
Latinščina na napisnih kamnih v rimskem imperiju je pomemben vir za rekonstrukcijo vulgarne različice jezika. Napake, ki jih srečamo na napisnih poljih, niso samo odraz kamnosekove nespretnosti, pač pa pogosto kažejo na razvoj jezika. Ena izmed glasovnih značilnosti vulgarne latinščine je omahovanje med črko b in v, ki je posledica razvoja izgovorjave. Pri besedi vivusse z njo na treh napisih srečamo tudi na območju Celeje.
