SummaryE. Thibout: Male and female sex pheromone glands involved in the courtship behaviour of the leek moth, Acrolepia assectella (Lepidoptera).The histological and morphological studies of the female sex pheromone gland and of the male odoriferous organs are made. The female gland is situated in the intersegmental membrane between the 8th and 9th abdominal segment. The secretory cells of the male scentpencil glands are epithelial cells situated at the base of one of the two kinds of scales.
