Abstract
The hyperfine structures in the 6 2P 3 2 -and 8 2P 3 2 -states of 133Cs have been investigated by optical double resonance in a strong magnetic field. For the g J -factors and the magnetic hfs coupling constants we obtain: g J(6 2 P 3 2 ) = 1.3340 (3), a (6 2 P 3 2 ) = 50.02(25) MHz, g J(8 2 P 3 2 ) = 1.3342(2), a (8 2 P 3 2 ) = 7.644(25) MHz .
