Abstract
Engineering adaptive Web applications imply the development of content that can be automatically adjusted to varying classes of users and their preferences in terms of presentation. To meet this requirement, we present in this paper a generator for adaptive web applications called GIWA. GIWAs target is to facilitate the automatic execution of the design and the automatic generation of adaptable web interface. GIWA methodology is based on three levels: semantic level, adaptation level and presentation level. The implementation of GIWA is based on java swing interface to instantiate the models which are translated in XML files. GIWA uses then XSL files to generate the HTML page corresponding to the user.
