Abstract

Mike Burke's career path to becoming a registrar was rooted in the positive experiences he gained as an undergraduate while working at his school's student events center. As the center's special events manager at Syracuse University, Burke managed a multipurpose auditorium, supervised a staff for the first time, and interacted with university leaders.
