Abstract

Currently, one of the country's most valuable resources is real estate. Real estate has a special economic and social status; that’s why the legislators of various countries impose special requirements for the registration of real estate transactions. On the basis of the documents on the completed transaction, the transfer of ownership is made by making changes to the real estate register. This article describes the procedure of cadastral valuation and using geoinformation systems in the process of such valuation. The authors note the importance of cadastral valuation for the country's economy. For a deeper understanding, the stages of this procedure as well as advantages and disadvantages of the existing software package are investigated here. The authors also propose the information structure of the geoinformation system, which will be used to determine the cadastral value of the assessed object.
