Abstract

A 76-year-old woman came to our hospital complaining of increasing chest discomfort for >6 months. She denied any history of chest trauma, thoracic surgery, or central venous access. Chest radiography showed a widened mediastinum, and echocardiography revealed a mean pulmonary artery pressure of 50 mm Hg. She underwent contrast-enhanced computed tomography angiography, which demonstrated a giant pulmonary artery aneurysm measuring 130 × 85 mm (A-C). Surgical correction was considered because of its size and the risk of aneurysmal rupture, but the patient refused any further treatment.
