Abstract

Photoresponse Enhancement Huge enhancement in photoresponse is achieved by modulating the surrounding dielectric environment of a silicon-monolayer MoS2 heterostructure. Reduced charge carrier scattering along with lower binding energy of excitons in the presence of high dielectric environment contribute to this enhancement as reported in article number 2102054 by Vrinda Narayanan P., Atikur Rahman, and co-workers.
