Giant magnetoimpedance effect in La 0.65Sr 0.35MnO 3 under low dc magnetic fields

Abstract

In the present work, the giant magnetoimpedance effect has been found in La 0.65Sr 0.35MnO 3. The impedance, resistance and reactance of La 0.65Sr 0.35MnO 3 depend sensitively on the ac current frequency and dc magnetic field. The magnetoimpedance ratio ( Z(0)− Z(0.8 kOe))/ Z(0) increases from 0.47% to 2.40% with increasing ac frequency from 0.5 to 12 MHz.
