Giant insulinoma in a 20 year old woman with behavioural changes for 3 years

Introduction

Insulinomas are rare neuroendocrine tumours of the pancreas with a reported incidence of 4 cases per 1 million patient year. Case Presentation A 20 year old female presented to medical unit with seizures and altered behavior. She was readmitted to medical unit with seizures and found to have recurrent hypoglycemia which resolved with IV Dextrose administration. A contrast enhanced CT abdomen with a 64 slice scanner and 1mm thick slices after administration of 100ml iodinated contrast was performed at 40s arterial phase.
