Abstract
Popliteal artery aneurysms (PAAs) comprise 85% of all peripheral arterial aneurysms. Secondary interventions are needed in 33% to 63% of open surgical or endovascular repairs within the first 2 years after treatment. Until now, the largest reported PAA following open surgical exclusion and bypass was 9.5 cm. We present a case of an 11- x 22-cm PAA 12 years after initial treatment for an aneurysm diameter of 3.1 cm.
