Abstract
An alien species Geum macrophyllum Willd. is recorded in the Republic of Karelia and Karelian-Murmansk floristic region (Russian Federation) for the first time. It was found in a wet place in a square in the southern part of Petrozavodsk town. The distribution of the species in the Eastern Europe is given.
